Swap a trip - NC south and Pac NW

Postby wdlfbio » Sat May 09, 2015 12:24 am

I need a good reason to get out from NC south and start shopping for a winter place. It will revolve around a house w a lift and a variety of offshore options. We kill the crud outta 20-30# albacore and lots of salmon out here, you just need to bring actual shoes. No open toe anything. And socks. Maybe a stocking cap too. And hand warmers. Yeah, you boys will want handwarmers throughout the summer.

I'd need 3-4 days to make sure we get one good day of weather for you. Unless you like 4-8' at 10 seconds with 10-25 kt winds. Plenty of sight seeing to do on your dime. Mt Rainer, Mt Hood, Mt Baker, Seattle, etc.

In return, I visit your neck of the woods, kill a few weird fish (seriously, your diversity is crazy compared to us), and learn about the housing area and waterfront living issue (like those hurricane things, floods, humidity...).

I don't know if you are interested in the Gulf side of Florida but check out Venice, Fl. If you want to look around here, it would be fun to take you guys on a trip. Oh ..oh... gotta go, the tarpon are here. I'll check back in.

I'm far from whittling out areas. So ocean side and gulf side are areas to explore. Maybe I'll get lucky and be able to line out a couple trips and spend a good week or so going from one area to another.
