Went out to the new spot to look for snowy and Blueline Tile. Seas were rough at 4-6+, but that was no problem for the World Cat. Had squid and fresh bonita and set up in about 660’. First couple drifts produced 2 nice BLT on squid.
Moved spots and made a couple more drifts with squid. Picked up a couple more BLTs.
With 4 in the box we sent down a larger rig to target snowy grouper. Also switched to fresh bonita chunks for bait. The bite seemed slow down. Had a couple a hard pulls but did not get them to the boat. Several drifts and no snowy, lost a 5lb weight and got I more BLT.
Great day of fishing in Marathon
