cat n to bimini

Postby highroller » Wed May 11, 2011 2:42 pm

WE were just wondering how many WC owners are planning to make the trip to Bimini this June24. Pete's e mail sounds like it will be a super time. Afriend of mine just returned yesterday from there and they caught two marlin, dolphin, and yellow tails. He stayed in the Bimini Sands and said it and the marina were first class. My wife had a knee replacement 9 weeks ago so we are waiting to see how she does over Memorial Day on a boat. We would like to go but will have to wait and see. Regards, High Roller

Sorry for the slow response to questions. I have not been on the forum in awhile. Really busy Spring. Waiting for a count today on how many boats have registered so far. I have 20 people confirmed as of yesterday. The 24th is the cut off for saving 10% on your room at Bimini Sands and the $50. per person registration fee that covers the Welcome Reception on Friday Night and Hospitality Suite each night with snacks and adult beverages. This should be a great time. Hopefully we get a big turn out so we can make it an annual event.

My wife and daughter are making the trip with me in my World Cat. I had total knee replacement on both knees six months ago and was on the boat 90 days after the surgury. Went snow sking in 120 days. Bimini is a great trip have made it many times but not in the last 10 years. Looking forward to it.

My boat is in Key Largo and will cruise to Fort Lauderdale to meet the group unless there is someone in the Keys that wants to make a direct crossing.
