new WC owner

Postby CBailey » Fri Nov 12, 2010 3:22 pm

Thought I would do a quick introduction and say hello to fellow WC owners. Ordered a new 2011 250DC with 150 Yams. The wife and I live in Charles City county VA between Richmond and Williamsburg on the James River. We plan to be in the Naples area Jan & Feb so we hope to have the boat with us this year. Hope to be in the Duck Key area mid January must mostly Marco/Naples area the rest of Jan/Feb.

Still have a 2004 38 ZSF Donzi with 3 Merc 250 XS for sale but hopefully it will move in the near future (think I've said that now for 4 months :-)).

Plan on learning how to fish salt water both in FL and the Chesapeake Bay in 2011 and beyond.

Look forward to learning from the experts.

Regards,

Corky Bailey

Wecome Aboard Corky! Maybe I'll see you around Keewadin Island or in the Marco area this winter. I have a home on Marco with my trusty old 2000 266LC, and have a brother in-law on Marco as well with a 270SD. I travel back and forth between Chicago and Marco during the winter. If you want to get together some time either send me a message here or e-mail me at: Dave@leyassociates.com

Hopefully this winter will be a little warmer than last year!

Hi Corky, Good luck with your new World Cat. I live on Marco full time and I see A lot of World Cats on Marco and Naples. Maybe some day we should have a rally. Is anyone interested ?

Howdy Roars,
We're interested in a gathering in early or mid Feb if that works out. We just got back from a weekend at Duck Key, great time, really good fishing. Have the boat back at Cedar Bay Marina until we head back north the end of Feb. We'll be going out 3 or 4 times a week weather permitting to try and learn fishing in the area.
Look forward to crossing paths in the future.
