Oil in my water discharge.........

Hey Guys.... My port engine shows an oil film coming out the pee tube on my port engine. Its a very small amount, but visible. 2003, Honda 225, 716 hrs. I checked the oil and no water shows on the stick, but its over the full mark about an 1/8''. Could to much oil cause this ??? What elese should I look far. Thanks for your help.

Are you sure it's oil and not lower unit fluid?

Yes its oil. It only comes out the discharge hole beside the motor... the water return you can see to know your impeller is working. You can catch it in a bucket and nothing elese shows up in the water.... Thanks

Up date ... FYI.... My oil was about 1/8'' above full. I removed about 24oz. now shows about 1/4'' below full. NO MORE PROBLEMS. R
