Hello and welcome to the WC family. We had a 1998 SF and just recently purchased a 25 DC with 150 Honda's. We do our fishing out of Jacksonville or St Augustine . It is 65or 52 miles to the gulf stream out of the respective inlets and the World Cats do a great job. My son has a 27 Contender so I go with him a lot and each time I know why I bought a WorldCat.We might be interested in a Bahamas trip later this year or even next yeat, and west end sounds interesting. Again ,welcome to the family

NewGuy, Where in Florida? What's your boat rigged with? How do you like it so far? Your pro's and con's?

Hi,
I am planning to leave from Lake Worth Inlet to West End on the 20th. I will be staying at Bootle Bay fishing Lodge until the 23rd. I wish I had known that the Blue Marlin Cove at Bootle Bay condo's may do rentals.
You are welcome to tag along if you like.

I normally fish out of Port Canaveral but it is less than half the running distance from LWI.

Aubrey

Aubrey and Joe,

We would like to make the trip July 20 - 23 with you, weather permitting.
Let me know the details via PM or e mail at stanmitch@comcast.net. We have been there several times before. Yellowfin is our target, especially in light of their fishing regs: we can catch dolphin here. Hope everyone's passport is in order, and be advised the Coasties will likely stop you either coming or going, so be forewarned to check safety gear, as they will "terminate your voyage" for the smallest infraction. For instance, on our last trip our boating buddy had out of date flares and the voyage was "terminated" on the spot. Please let me know how the trip is progressing.
