I would contact Scott Ellis at world cat. He seems to know everything about the boats. I talked to jim at the Ft. Lauderdale boat show, a real nice guy.

There are not many employees left that were around during your vintage year. The new folks are polite and try to help, but, just don't have the history.

I have just recently pulled both gas hatches/floor up on my 266 SC,because I had a slight gas smell when refueling.....to make a long story short, found out as others have, fuel fill hose on starboard was bad.....replaced both sides and tanks seem to be in good shape. They are mounted on a flat fiberglass platform up out of bilge area. The one other problem was that they had shifted, and bolts were coming out....both tanks were almost loose....only 2 bolts in each tank were really doing anything....moved tanks slightly to get better grip in glass, and refastened them. I am also am using 3/8 SS toggle anchors along with original SS lags.
