Re: Feds up the red grouper catch in Gulf

and the bag limit is going down to 4. Did anyone happen to notice the new regs for the commercial guys  They get to keep red down to 18" now to "decrease" bycatch. Nice logic...don't decrease their total catch (gutted lbs), just decrease the size limit! Actually, the total gag c...

Re: Transducer Mounting

I have the Airmar P79 transducer in my boat and it works pretty well. Actually, the transducer is in a ziploc bag filled with water laying in my bilge. Still haven't gotten around to installing it. Beast, didn't you have both (M260 and P79) at one time? If so, can you give me a comparison of ...

Are you referring to a bow dodger or something different?

Re: Honda Fuel management

Have you considered running a NMEA from your GPS to your fuel management gauge? I have Yamahas and got tired of the pitot getting plugged so I now use the speed from my GPS to calculate MPG. Like Flymost said, check THT and you will most likely find the information you need. On another note, what si...

Thank you lotogulf

I wanted to take moment to thank lotogulf for helping me out in a bind. He went out on edge to help me without knowing me very well.

It's nice to know there are still people who are willing to put faith and trust in others.

Thanks again lotogulf,

Jeremy

Re: WC 226 SF Specifications

I completely agree. It would be more fun, but I have a heavy schedule this weekend and it will take less time to tow it back. Then again, if I can't find a way to tow it back I may have no choice ;) ;)

Re: WC 226 SF Specifications

I am purchasing a 226 , not a 266 (I wish though). Oops... sorry, misread your post. Worldcat lists the weight of the 230SF at 5400 lbs, including 150hp motors. I think most of us would agree that our boats tend to be a lot heavier than Worldcat says they should be, and most of us carry a lot of ex...

Re: WC 226 SF Specifications

Mike, I have to pick up the boat in Marco Island, FL and bring it up to Crystal River, Fl on Friday (11/14) or Sunday (11/16). I could leave the boat in Marco Island, after the purchase is made, at the current owner's house, but I don't want to take any chances (or make more trips down there). Thank...

Re: WC 226 SF Specifications

I am purchasing a 226 , not a 266 (I wish though). I tried searching the website, but there is no information on it. The closest size boat they make in that size is now the 230SF. Is the 226 the same size as the 230? In the event I don't find a trailer soon enough, does anyone know where I can rent ...

WC 226 SF Specifications

I am purchasing a 2001 WC 226SF, but do not have the full specs on this boat. I found a used trailer, but it's capacity is ~4500 lbs. I am concerned that the boat and motors (Yamaha 115 4-strokes) along with fuel and gear may be a bit much for it. Does anybody have the specs on this model? Thanks, J...
