Re: THRU HULL FITTING REPLACEMENT

I have one that the flange broke off from the shaft. Got a 1" hole where it was. Lucky I was waxing the hull when it broke. That is why I am replacing with SS. But I still have to cut holes in the inner liner just aft of the Seat/Fishbox in front. I have problems doing this. I know the location...

THRU HULL FITTING REPLACEMENT

I hope someone can chime in on this. I have a predicament. My Thru Hulls need replacing. There is one on the Port side that drains the forward fish box and the other on the Starboard side that drains the anchor locker.. With the rod storage racks out I can just barely reach them. The question is do ...

Trailer for 230SF

I am looking for a used trailer for my 230SF! After having engine problems now for 6 weeks, I am totally frustrated. I have already replaced all the filters internal and external, rebuilt the Vapor Separator and serviced the injectors. I still have the same problem. At 4400 RPM it burns 9,6 GPH when...

Re: Bimini Spots

I got the Yellowtail part of it down. But your comments will be added to my knowledge base. I caught plenty. What I am looking for are Coral Heads or Small reef's for Grouper and Muttons. How the hell do you find them? If it takes years to find them then at 60 I may never find one. I have and idea t...

Bimini Spots

After 3 trips to Bimini I guess I just made my last one. I now have a whopping 3 spots (GPS Coordinates) for Yellow Tail. That were not the greatest of productive. My question is, is there a place where I can get some other spots for Grouper and muttons and decent size yellow tails? Or is there a me...

Primer Bulbs and now an alarm

I just love ethanol! On my yearly maintenance I replaced all my fuel lines and the primer bulbs filterers etc. Now 6 months later. I was rinsing the boat down and noticed something in the port splash well. I reached in picked it out of there and smelled fuel. I inspected the fuel line and found the ...

Re: BigPineBoy bought a New WC 290CC

I was seriously considering moving up to the 290CC from my 230SF. But after reading all of these posts I have decided that I need to sea trial the 27, 29 and the 33. Although the 33 may be a bit big for my fishing exploits. My 23 rides great but I want a boat with more range and a bit more storage. ...

Re: 290 CC and Davits?

I currently have ACE 5500#. They say that the max weight is around 7000#.
The Davit master are rated at 7000# to 11000#. I can't see much difference except for the height.
My only other option is a Hydrohoist. Or a seawall lift. But the permitting is a nightmare.

290 CC and Davits?

I was wondering why Worldcat would offer a lifting eye option on the 290 CC.
I now there was a Davit thread a couple of years ago but this baby is heavy and wide.
It's probably going to be my next boat.
Only problem is how to get it out of the water.
