Wiper set up for 266SC

I have a 98 266SC and need to put a windshield wiper set up on her. Trolling for Stripers at 3 mph in 3-5 ft. seas puts a lot of water on the windshield. I searched the forum and all the information is over 10 yrs old. any information will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: 266sc prop suggestions

As suggested, first have the motors checked out and ask the dealer what size he recommends. Some dealers have a prop program where you leave a credit card # and they give you different props to try so you can find out which size works best with your boat and motors. The test props are usually alumin...

bleeding instructions

Can someone tell me where to find the thread with system bleeding instructions. I believe it was by Conehead. I did a search but couldn't find it. had a copy of it but lost it. I just replaced the hoses on my 98 WC and need to bleed the system.
Thanks

Re: New Cat Owner, 98 266SF

I have a 98 266SC and the gel coat was dead when I bought it. If you ran your hand on across it your hand would turn white. It was rough feeling and really dull especially the top deck. I tried all kinds of cleaners and wax and none of them worked. I got to know a guy who does fiberglass repairs and...

Re: Hydraulic steering hose replacement/repair

Thanks for the replies. I do know how to bleed the steering as I have done it several times before. Was hoping to find a easy fix, but all the hoses are old so I guess it's time to replace them all.
Thanks again

Also has anyone replaced there steering lines and have any hints on the installation. Are they off the shelf items or do th...

Re: Why not a classified

I agree. I'd also like to see a World Cat/Cat boat for sale section. I know when I was looking for a WC half the ads on the net were outdated, sold etc. I searched for months and spent a lot of hours looking at sites to see if they had any WC's for sale. It would be great to go to a site with just c...

Re: Need help buying World Cat

I bought my 98 266SC and it had 175 Ficht motors on it. I was very concerned about the reliability of motors so I did a ton of research on the Ficht motors and it was widely stated that if you had 300 hrs or more on them that they were good motors. Long story short the motors had well over 300 hrs. ...
