Gross tonnage
Would anybody happen to know the GRT of a 270SF. Hard to calculate it not knowing the depth. I do have a call into the factory, just thought someone might have already explored this.

Re: Help with digital control pad
These are tough to figure out, but, you have to break it down and take one step at a time. First, you mention it shorted out. If it did indeed short out, you should have a tripped breaker. That is good because now you have really good idea of where to start looking for the short. You can do this by ...

Re: New 200 Suzuki motors on
What did you have before and what was their fuel burn. That's a 266SF, right?
That is way better than my F225's regarding the MPG.
Do you notice any difference about what speed the boat will stay on plane? I know you said it had plenty of torque.

Re: 1999 266SC Big Block Etec 200's prop help.
I believe I would experiment with some different props if my max RPM's were 5200. I guess that is in the acceptable range, being over 5000, but, it is pretty close. Also, if you are only getting 1.2 MPG that sounds a little low. I would expect at least 1.4 at cruise. You might contact Ken at PropGod...

I like that instrument panel. If my touchpad instrument panel ever goes bad, that, is probably what I would replace it with.

Re: 33TE Tournament Edition logo
I think if you go to the worldcat web site then to the owners section, then scroll down to parts, then highlight your model, although they only go back to 2006, then scroll down to the decal section, you will find the part number to order through your dealer. Not sure if this will work, but, a good ...

There are not many employees left that were around during your vintage year. The new folks are polite and try to help, but, just don't have the history.

Re: 266 SF control cable length?
I measured mine while they were installed using a tape measure to approximate the distance. An extra foot of cable should not matter. However, once I disconnected them on each end, I found the cables were OK and the problem of making it hard to shift was due to lack of grease in the fitting on the m...
