Deck Repair & Stress Cracks

I have some chips in the nonskid deck. How do i repair it.

I also have 2 stress cracks where the cap turns up towards the port engine.
Can i live with that or does it need repair?
Thanks

BF130 problems

I have 23' World cat with twin BF130's. My starboard engine is running 400 RPM (5600) slower then the Port. I just changed the oil replaced the external FF and the internal Low pressure filter. It is also sluggish when i throttle up. I don't run very much WOT and didn't notice it until I did the mai...

Re: Sonar Help

I with ya on the Guinea pig! The software on the unit has been updated 18 times so far. Meanwhile I found the end of the cable from my P79 ducer and am going to connect my Lowrance HDS7. The split screen is great but isn't worth a crap when you are trying to nail a spot. You need full screen. I upda...

Re: Sonar Help

I have a friend that works for Bob Hewes a big dealer in FL. He was the one that said on the inside. And I saw plenty of pictures of them on the inside. I am going to relocate it to the outside. As far as the DownVu. I talked to Gararmin because the DownVu not working over 50'. The guy basically tol...

Sonar Help

I just put in the transom mount DownVu transducer on my new Garmin 1040XS. It doesn't work worth a crap. I am wondering what i did wrong. Looked at the pictures of others transom mount transducers. I mounted it on the inside of the port sponson where it sits just below the step. It works up t about ...

Re: Backing Plates

Hay thanks for the reply. I am with ya on the drag management. I think its like 32# max. I just don't want to take a chance on tearing a rod holder out. All I plan on doing is remove the screws put the aluminum plate under the rod holder and putting the locknuts and washers back on. I was wondering ...

Backing Plates

I am planning on fishing 2 Daiwa Tanacom 1000 with 100# braid and bent but rods. So I bought the GEM backing plates for the rear rod holders. There roughly the same size as the top of the rod holder. Don't think there big enough. So I am planning on getting some 4" x 6" x 1/4" aluminu...

Rod Holder Help

I just got a Tanacom 1000 and rod Its got 100# braid on it.
I checked my 2 back rod holders and they have some small fender washers under the
nuts. Do i need to make a backing plate to reinforce them? Or perhaps take some bigger fender washers
and modify them to fit?

Re: Garmin 1040XS Transducer

I guess I misunderstood. I want to mount it on the outside of the sponson. I have a P79 Shoot Through currently on my old Lawranc HiDef mounted in the Port sponson that worked OK but I don't care about drilling any holes at this point. I know I saw some pictures of Transom mounted ducers. My neighbo...

I cant find a model # for the transducer all it says is
77/200 kHz (Traditional) and 455kHz (DownView
Might be a GT20-TM
