Re: Pry out deck hatches

The Bekson deck plates that are on the older cats are not usually stocked by marine stores. I called up Beckson and ordered two direct. The differences are color and the plastic. It seems they make these off white plates stronger than the white ones. I broke thru two white ones before making the cal...

Re: Steering issues

I know this is an older post, but i have never heard this issue before. The helm unit needs a vented cap, it sounds like you may have an issue with venting the pressure.

Re: Anyone run a fully heavy loaded 330TE

The 33TE can really be loaded and still get about 1 NM per gallon. We do Bahamas and Dry Tortugas and use a 100 gallon ATL fuel bladder in addition to the 300 on board. The ATL folds up and is easily stored when empty.

Re: Keywest49 bids farewell

So after my second encounter with this species, I did a Google search on an image and found out. But before the answer, the story of the second encounter. I was inside Captiva Pass in Southwest Florida fishing the North Captiva docks for redfish and snook at mid-morning. I hooked a jack on light tac...

Re: Keywest49 bids farewell

Thanks Corky. During the sale process I now have two friends from Louisiana. The new owners are a great couple and I know they will love the boat. While we talked about the sea trial I found out they had never caught groupers, so we took an offshore trip. We headed out to areas 12 and 20 nm offshore...

Keywest49 bids farewell

I bid farewell to the World Cat family as an owner. My boat has a sale pending that should complete next week. At 63 years young, Cattn' has become too much for me to handle, and I am tired of getting my B_lls squeezed by fuel prices by those Mideast oil rug heads. I have owned my cat since 2004, wh...
